What NOT to eat:

1. Chocolate -- the sugar can make the tension worse

2. Too much salt -- for me, a little salt can help, but that's only because my head aches are not caused by the blood rushing to the brain, they are caused by my Allergies.

What to eat:

1. Black tea -- it really does help. because of it's heat, it releases the blood from the brain and it moves back to the heart.

2. Healthy foods -- salads is a great choice because it's refreshing.

Did none of these work? I'm sorry. Try:

1. Sitting in a dark room with NO sound, maybe a relaxing sound that helps you sleep. (birds singing, the ocean, water running down a stream, etc.)

2. Sleep

3. LOTS of water -- This helps prevent head aches, so don't be expecting a miracle. you should drink about 4 full glasses of water each day (it also takes away achne in less than 2 days!)

4. Vitamins

5. ibuprofen -- A pill available at most local grocery stores. very helpful and you must sleep after taking it if you have a head ache, it causes it to go away faster.

6. Sleeping positions

You may have noticed that some sleeping positions, such as left, right, up, and down, can help or worsen your head ache. It is true because the head ache may occur on one side of your brain. Whenever I have a head ache (like right now, ouch) on my left side, i sleep on my left side. whenever i have a head ache on my right side, i sleep on my right side, though sometimes on my left if it's a migrain.

REMEMBER NOT TO JUMP OR EXCERCISE. It will cause the blood from your heart to go up to your brain more because of lack of Oxygen from your skeletal muscles.

I hope this helped! Feel better soon!
