People will not eat it, throw it out and start again.
It is not a good idea to use food coloring (they are unnecessary chemicals - why should people want to eat chemicals) but if you must, pour it into a spoon before adding it to the dish, that way you can control the amount added.
Actually you shouldn't add water at all apparently. The best way to liquefy the powdered colours is to use gin or vodka, the alchohol will evaporate as the icing sets.
Use the paste. Food coloring liquid will thin out the dough too much.
To make a real black icing, take 2 cups of Wilton's ready-to-use buttercream, add 1/2 cup good quality cocoa (sift if it seems lumpy), 2 teaspoons of water, and 1 oz. Wilton black icing color. You will achieve a true, deep rich black color which is so popular for wedding cakes today, such as details for stringwork or embroidery work. For example, the Black Tie Affair Cake is topped with black buttercream cornelli lace. If you have added too much black color in the beginning and your buttercream seems to have somewhat of a bitter taste, I suggest adding either 2 tablespoons of cocoa or a flavoring such as cherry or orange, about 1 teaspoon, to 2 cups of icing.
it will have too strong flavor that you will not love :(
add food coloring any color you want but not to much it will take the taste out of the icing
Food colouring is non nutritive and is not absorbed (at least not too much) in the body. This is why it passes straight through.
Food colouring does not affect how long it takes for water to boil. Both clear water and water with food colouring boil at the same speed with no real obvious differences in time.
m and M's have about 25% of food colouring ,but smarties has 100% because if u suck it the colour will end up on your tongue
like any other food, if you eat too much of it can indeed make you sick!
yes you can it is simply borax water tiny bit of flour not to much or that will clog it and warm water and food colouring if you like
most colouring books cost about $0.99 up to at least $1.50
A drop at a time while mixing to achieve desired result. It only takes a little, it is surprisingly strong.
