Theobromine and it kills the heart, but its mostly the dark chocolate that's bad for them.
iv'e heard that your not suppose to give dogs chochlate but i gave my dog chochlate and he is a small dog and if u give small pieces of chochlate to small dogs it gives them organ damage but my little dog was fine and i keep giving it to him
Chocolate is toxic to dogs so no.
Many dogs are eager to eat anything resembling food, and will happily eat chocolate if they can get it. However, they shouldn't be allowed to. Chocolate - particularly dark chocolate - contains a chemical that's really dangerous to dogs if the dose is big enough.
Chocolate has an ingredient in it that is toxic to dogs and puppies. Please DO NOT feed chocolate to them. It does not instantly kill them, but hurts the liver and kidneys and eventually this will kill them.
That happened to my dog to he got a hold of an Easter bunny . I know most people say it's fatal for dogs, my vet says it's normally only fatal for small dags. Medium to large dogs aren't as affected. But every dog is different. So why didn't anything happen It's most likely that your dog's immune system worked fast enough that it didn't really effect them.
In all probability nothing special. White chocolate has very little cocoa, and it's the cocoa that holds the stuff in regular chocolate than can make dogs ill. So w/o cocoa, there's no particular risk.
I would think so, chocolate is toxic to dogs.
dogs cant eat chocolate so they didnt put it in the game
Dogs can have many allergies just like humans. Most dogs are allergic to chocolate, so much so that any large amount could be fatal (and they WILL try to eat it). Some dogs are also allergic to fleas, moreso than the regular fleat bite itching, they would get a severe rash and reaction.
Lol, chocolate was invented for people so yes.
It is unlikely for the dog to get sick. He'll be fine!
The general rule is: dogs should not eat chocolates. Chocolate contains theobromine, which is toxic to dogs. Many large dogs can handle a small amount of chocolate without dying if they should accidentally eat some, but you should not give your dog chocolates... it would be like giving your mother "just a little" arsenic, because she keeps begging for it.
