They say chocolate is bad for dogs but when I give my dog chocolate nothing happens so why doesn't anything happen?

That happened to my dog to he got a hold of an Easter Bunny . I know most people say it's fatal for dogs, my vet says it's normally only fatal for small dags. Medium to large dogs aren't as affected. But every dog is different. So why didn't anything happen It's most likely that your dog's immune system worked fast enough that it didn't really effect them.
