Honey is definitely better for you. White sugar is bleached and void of alll nutrients. Splenda has Aspartame which many believe to be harmful for you. Honey is filled with natural nutrients (if you buy pasteurized then some of the bacteria and nutrients have been burned away). It also has lots of great minerals, vitamins and is a natural and pure source of energy/sugar!
Neither, I have diabetes myself and i would prefer you to use SPLENDA or any sugar free sugar.
White sugar is also known as granulated sugar. There are not any substitutes for white sugar that I know of, and you cannot substitute brown sugar for white sugar because they affect the food that you use them in in different ways. For example, using white sugar in a cookie can make the cookie more crunchy and dry, but brown sugar makes it more chewy and moist.
This is a slightly personal thing. With black tea, honey is quite good. But with white tea it tastes a little strange. The same applies to brown sugar, although that goes better with white tea than honey does.
The different types of sugar that can be used in coffee include white sugar, brown sugar, raw sugar, and artificial sweeteners like stevia or Splenda.
Unrefined sugar (like "Florida Crystals"). It works just as well in recipes and is less glycemic than white sugar.
You could substitute splenda or another sweetener.
No, sugar is sucrose and I believe honey is some type of glucose obtained from flower nectar and processed by bees. If talking about culinary sweeteners honey may work if it is a small amount.
Given a generic brand of pure clover honey, there are 16 grams of sugar per tablespoon or 5.3 grams in a teaspoon. This number may vary with different types or brands of honey. According to other sources, there are 4.2 grams of sugar in a teaspoon of white granulated sugar. Although there is slightly more sugar in a teaspoon of honey than there is in a teaspoon of white granulated sugar, some may argue that honey is a better alternative because it is more natural and has more health benefits.
Honey is a natural sweetener produced by bees from flower nectar, while sugar is a simple carbohydrate extracted from sugarcane or sugar beets. Honey contains more nutrients and antioxidants than sugar but is higher in calories. Sugar is processed and refined, while honey is minimally processed and considered more natural.
A slice of lemon or a little lemon juice in your glass of water is a very good natural diuretic. The honey ---- only slightly better then eating a few teaspoons of sugar. The best diet is a no-white diet - no sugar, no flour, no white rice or potatoes.
White DEFINITELY!
Yes.
