My hamster is a Russian Cambell dwarf and he LOVES: Almonds, sunflower seeds, peanut butter, and most of all cotage cheese! These things are great to maintain a dwarf hamsters diet and most hamsters absoutly love them! I know my hamster does.
1-3 tablespoons of hamster mix and if your let your hamster finish his or her food or he/she can start to be picky,I hope this helps good luck
A Russian dwarf hamster should be fed about one to two tablespoons of hamster food per day, along with fresh vegetables and occasional treats. It's important to monitor their weight and adjust their food intake accordingly to prevent obesity. Fresh water should also always be available.
Albino Russian dwarf hamsters can eat a variety of foods such as hamster pellets, fresh fruits and vegetables (in moderation), and seeds. It is important to provide a balanced diet to ensure they receive all the necessary nutrients. Avoid giving them sugary or fatty foods as it can lead to health problems.
I got my two Russian Dwarfs, Peanut and Buttonwood at PetSmart, which were free (not including equipment and food and play things). They can also be free at a petting zoo, including food and bedding, chew sticks, treats, cages, etc....
All the animals that I can think of bite--except for goldfish. Russian Dwarf hammies DO bite, but it's in their natural instinct. You can tame this out of them, though. It will take a lot of time and patience. I am saying this as an experienced dwarf owner. Play with the hammiw everyday, DO NOT wake it up while its sleeping, and feed it food and treats by hand.yes, Russian dwarf do bite, i had the same question and had my hamster answer it. Dwarf Hamsters are more 'Nippy' and more territorial of their cages than Syrian, if you scare you hamster or take it away from its food bowl it may bite if you want to try this it might help: put a towel on your hands then place the hamster on you hands with the towel on it, make it trust you again by , talking nicely to it and it should start to trust you after a while....... hope this works for everybody!!!! no fancy Russian dwarf hamsters do not bite but most other breeds of hamsters do
my dog (shelty) once tried to eat my russian dwarf hamster. Otherwise, snakes, cats, all of animals like that can harm your hamster. But giving too much human food or putting your hamster in water can do HORRIBLE things to them
they only eat what they want so you fill the bowl, so they store food for when they want it but still give them pellets and carrots and vitamins for dinner(at night)
It is better that hamsters are mainly fed hamster food, and fruits and snacks are given as a treat.
depends if the hamster is tame and used to being around people and their scent.
A dwarf hamster should be fed about 1-2 tablespoons of hamster-specific food per day, along with small portions of fresh fruits, vegetables, and occasional treats. It's important to monitor their body condition and adjust their food portion accordingly to prevent overfeeding and obesity. Always provide fresh water for your hamster.
No, it isn't good for any kind of hamster to eat any human food except for veggies and sunflower seeds. If you are not willing to give your hamster the right kind of food this isn't the pet for you.
my guess: Probably when they try to search for food.
