I take it you took your dog to the vet who determined the dog has Salmonella. Otherwise, you wouldn't know it was Salmonella.

The vet probably has the dog on antibiotics. Give them as directed.

The next thing you should do is try to determine where the Salmonella came from. See if he got into something that he should not have gotten into. Some rawhide treats have caused outbreaks. If you think it is a commercial product, check with your vet and public health folks. Also search the internet for any reports on the products you feed your dog.
