It is a very good training program with no follow up on implementation. An avatar walks you through everything and there is a test at the end but with lack of funds given for training and the labor restrictions the managers just fast forward through the videos and take the tests for you. Until pizza hut allows labor dollars for training they will continue to get the poor quality of employee they have.
Response to above:
I am a General Manager and work for Daland Corp. which has 102 Pizza Huts east of the Mississippi. I haven't in my 14 years of having a job, worked for an company as professional as mine or as rewarding as mine. Not sure what your beef is with Pizza Hut, but as with any food service place, training and management are going to vary in quality within any company and any franchise and/or corporation. That being said, I myself however ensure that all my new hires go through the videos and I follow up and implement all learning, standards, and all necessary job requirements. Also our branch of Pizza Huts allow us X amount of hours for the videos and on the job training. Therefor ensuring quality employees and in my case, less turnover due to poor training.
