Richmond Cedar Works is long gone. It was purchased
by Dimon (a tobacco leaf processor also located in
Danville, VA) in 1967. In 1990, Dimon sold it's
ice cream maker business to Rival Products (of crock pot
fame). The web site is www.rivalproducts.com,
customer service is 1-800-557-4825 (if that doesn't work,
try 1-800-546-5637).

Based on the above information I contact Rival, regarding obtaining a manual. There reply is as follows:

Unfortunately, the manual you are inquiring about is not available from us. The information you received is incorrect, we do not own Richmond Cedar works We do apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused, but we do encourage you to view our current line of products at www.jardenstore.com. If you go to the Rival site their "Rival® 5 Quart Wood Bucket Ice Cream Maker Model: 8550-X" sure looks like the Richmond Cedar Works" model though so maybe the manuals are compatible
