actually, my great, great, great grandfather did.

i believe his name was John Gunn. It might be different, but that is just what i remember my grandmother telling me.

and he is from Texas. but there is also a "apple-pear tree" and that is actually different. the "pear-apple tree" is Pears that have been grown on an apple tree, and the "apple-pear tree" is apples that have been grown on a pear tree.

someone in Asia invented that one.
