There were several reasons for the problems encountered by the Loyalist. One of the primary reason was the land. The Bahamas in geological times is a relatively young formation. Therefore the soil is not fully developed. It is what we call immature soil, i.e., soils that do not have a complete soil horizon [ a soil horizon is the vertical arrangement of the soil into layers, A,B,C]. The A-Horizon is what we plant on and this is extremely thin in The Bahamas. With a thin A-Horizon when a farmer cultivates on it the nutrients present in the soil is quickly used up.
This is exactly what happened to the Loyalists. Their plantations were large and thus after a few years the nutrients were used up in The Bahamian soil.
Secondly, the cotton plants were attacked by the chenille bug and red bug that damage the crop. The chenille destroyed the young buds and the red bug discoloured the crop making it useless for trade.
Finally, it is my opinion that cotton form other areas, such as India and the USA was proving to be of a better quality and also available in larger quantities.
Trust that this helps.
it is faced by people using to much machines
I have no idea.
The chenille and red bug, also known as the "red bug" or "chigger," significantly impacted loyalists in the Bahamas by causing severe discomfort and health issues, leading to decreased productivity and morale among the population. Many loyalists, who had fled to the Bahamas during the American Revolution, struggled to adapt to the harsh conditions exacerbated by these pests. The presence of these bugs contributed to a challenging living environment, complicating the loyalists' efforts to establish a stable community in their new surroundings. Ultimately, this pest problem added to the hardships faced by the loyalist population during this period.
The other islands are not self-sufficient. As that changes, I'll move there again.

Loyalists, who remained loyal to the British Crown during the American Revolutionary War, settled in Quebec primarily due to the upheaval and persecution they faced in the newly formed United States. After the war, many were displaced, and Quebec offered a refuge with its British colonial governance and land grants. Additionally, the region's French-speaking population and established British presence provided a familiar environment for these Loyalists seeking to maintain their loyalty to Britain.
I have no idea but I think they faced all the british troops and the loyalists.
