Start with air filter, but beyond that, you'll need to run a diagnostic scan. Rent, borrow or buy a GM OBD code scanner at a local auto parts retailer. There are plenty of possibilities, from poor timing to Oxygen sensor, map sensor throttle position sensor and many other potential problems. But the computer already knows, so take advantage of that. It could also just be a sticking injector in the throttle body. -------------------------------------- I HAD THE SAME TYPE OF PROBLEM TURNED OUT TO BE A COIL PACK, THE ANSWER ABOVE WAS A GOOD ONE, MY CODES DID NOT INDICATE THE BAD COIL PACK ONLY A MULTI METER HELPED ME
