These shows were all shown on channels 1-5 now we pay for Sky, Virgin and freeveiw and have hundreds of channels and we still do complain about how there is not anything to watch on TV. Why is that? Because todays mediated culture has influenced society.

Don't think they will. I emailed Sky, they said they don't have the rights this year so its up in the air. Thinks its too late now for other channels to buy the rights. However, the oscars will air on Sky Movies in the UK!
