No, it can't. It can't even be activated if it was Set on the field, with no other S/T cards. To be able to legally activate it, there must be one other S/T card on the field for it to destroy.

Of course. Heavy Storm is a Spell Speed 1 card, you may chain any appropriate Spell Speed 2 or 3 effect to this.

What is the Heavy Storm card?

Heavy Storm is a Normal Spell Card that destroys Spell and Trap cards on the field. It's most useful if your opponent has Set cards, active Equip Spells, and Continuous Spells and Traps but you have none.

Does a trap or spell go to the grave after it is activated or does it stay until you end your turn?

Activated Normal or Quickplay Spells, and Normal or Counter Traps, remain on the field until after the whole chain has resolved, unless another effect specifically sends them during the chain. So if I activated Secret Barrel, my opponent could chain cards like Jar of Greed to it, but even though that resolves first, the card remains on the field until Secret Barrel finishes resolving, meaning there is no reduction in damage. In another scenario, if Heavy Storm is activated, and Solemn Judgment was chained, Heavy Storm will be negated, destroyed, and sent to the graveyard when Solemn Judgment resolves. Then at the end of the chain, Solemn goes to the graveyard too.

What do yu gi o traps and spells do?

Spells can be field spell, quick-play and countinous. An normal one is activated only in main pharses. YOU can choose to set spells down to trick your openment. Quick plays can be activated from your hand, or you can set quick plays down and use them on your openments turn. note that only quick plays can be activiated on others turn. continous are activated, and can stay on the field until one player destroys it. field spells are like continous, except that they go to the field spell section and that only one out of both can be activated. when one field spell is activated, the previous one goes to the grave. traps can be counter and continous. traps ( normal) can be activated when you set them down, at anytime. However, they cannot be activated the turn you set them in. Counters are like a normal trap, except they negate other affects. for example, seven tools of the bandit. Continous traps are like normal traps and continous spells combined. the cannot be activated thhe turn they where set in. but once activated, it stays on the field until destroyed. technically, that is the whole concept of traps and spells!

Can Mystical Space Typhoon destroy a monster that is equipped to another monster in Yu-Gi-Oh?

If you or your opponent activates Heavy Storm and you chain by activating Mystical Space Typhoon and target the activated Heavy Storm, the chain resolves backwards. The effect of Mystical Space Typhoon destroys Heavy Stormas it is placed on the field when activated. However, the destruction of Heavy Storm does not negate its effect and, as it is Chain Link 1, its effect resolves last destroying all Spell and Trap cards on the field including the activated Mystical Space Typhoon.

Can Heavy Storm destroy a Field Card if Field Barrier is in play?

No. If Field Barrier is on the field, the Field Spell Card will be unaffected by the effect of Heavy Storm.Because Heavy Storm destroys all Spell and Trap Cards simultaneously, Field Barrier acts as a shield for the Field Spell Card, preventing it from being destroyed. To destroy the Field Spell Card, the Player must destroy Field Barrier FIRST. Effects that supposedly destroy both at the same time, such as Heavy Storm and Harpie's Feather Duster, do not affect the Field Spell Card.

In Yu-Gi-Oh if 'Colosseum - Cage of the Gladiator Beasts' is on the field and your opponent uses 'Heavy Storm' or another field card are you able to discard another one to keep it on the field?

If Heavy Storm is used, then yes, you may discard a second copy of Colosseum - Cage of the Gladiator Beasts to save the one on the field from being destroyed.Protective effects like this though will not save it from destruction due to game mechanics, such as not paying a maintenance cost, or the rule that says only one Field Spell Card can be active at any one time. You would not be able to save your Colosseum if the opponent activated another Field Spell Card. (The Colosseum is not being destroyed by the effect of the new Field Spell Card).

Can quick play-spells be activated on opponet's turn?

Yes, this is one of the main advantages of a Quickplay Spell. But to activate it in the opponent's turn, it must have been Set on the field in the previous turn.

If you activate a Spell or Trap card in Yu-Gi-Oh like Urgent Tuning and then send it to the graveyard for a chained Emergency Provisions will you still get Urgent Tuning's effect?

You can activate spells and traps, and then chain Emergency Provisions at the end, sending all those activated cards to the graveyard for the cost. Unless a card's effect is 'negated', removing the activating card from the field will not stop the effect resolving. So all those spells and traps will resolve correctly - unless they are cards that need to stay on the field, like continuous, Equip cards, or Field spells.

What happens if you activate Gravelstorm to target a Trap card that you activated in Yu-Gi-Oh?

Nothing. Normal Spells or Traps, Quickplay Spells and Counter Traps, cannot be returned from field to hand once activated, there's no way to reuse them repeatedly in this way.If a player activated Giant Trunade, any of the above spells or traps chained to it will not be returned to hand when it resolves. They will go to the graveyard when the chain finishes resolving as normal. Very important also to consider, it is the reason why Giant Trunade does not return itself to hand on resolution. The same applies to Gravelstorm, you can't activate one of the above cards, try to chain Gravelstorm to get it back to your hand, so you can get its effect once more. Gravelstorm simply can't be activated in this case.

Is a monster that is immune to spells and traps affected by Skill Drain?

Depends which was on the field first. If Skill Drain was already active, the monster's protective continuous effects will never become active. If the monster was on the field first and Skill Drain activated after, then since the monster is unaffected by traps, Skill Drain will not affect it.
