If mystique morphs into wolverine, she cant use his powers but she can morph his claws.
But if she morphs into storm then she couldn't do her powers because you can't morph a tornado or lightning. I.e she can use powers that are attached to the persons body e.g claws, or big feet but not things that are not part of her appearance e.g telepathy or weather control.

JEAN GREY has the power of telekinesis in which she can control things with her mind ,while SUE STORM CAN TURN INVISIBLE AND ALSO GENERATE FORCE FIELDS.SO ALTHOUGH IT MIGHT TAKE A LITTLE WHILE IM SURE JEAN GREY WOULD PUT THE HURT ON SUE STORM .JEAN GREY ALSO HAS THE POWER OF THE PHEONIX SHE WOULD PROBABLY CRUSH SUE STORM INSIDE HER LITTLE PROTECTIVE BUBBLE. Jean on her own isn't much of a threat. Sue on the other hand can create force fields inside Jean's head and kill her flat out. Jean is no longer host to the Phoenix, however she is one with the Phoenix which means currently Sue would be crushed. Hope this helps!~
