I am fairly sure you cannot activate "Defense Draw" after an opponent's Ancient Gear monster inflicts Battle Damage in order to reduce the damage to 0 and draw a card. Here's why:
First of all, this scenario is referring to an effect most Ancient Gear monsters possess: If this card attacks, your opponent cannot activate any Spell or Trap Cards until the end of the Damage Step.
In case you did not know, the Damage Step is the part of the Battle Step that consists of (1) the point right before damage is calculated between two monsters, (2) damage being dealt to a monster, (3) dealing any damage to the player's Life Points (LPs), and (4) if any monsters are destroyed, they are sent to the Graveyard.
"Defense Draw" must activate during that third portion of the Damage Step when you are going to lose LPs. Since this is still during the Damage Step and if you are being attacked by an Ancient Gear monster with the above effect, you cannot activate "Defense Draw".
Torrential Tribute and Bottomless Trap Hole can only be used in response to a monster's summon. Attacking a monster does not summon it (note that if the monster is face down, this is a Flip and not a Flip Summon).
In Yu-Gi-Oh!, when a Defense Position monster is destroyed, damage calculation does not occur. Instead, the monster is sent to the graveyard without involving damage calculation, as it is not in Attack Position. The player does not take any battle damage from the destruction of a Defense Position monster.
If the face-down monster is tributed, then no, any Flip Effects it has will not activate. Under normal conditions therefore, you should flip the monster first, allow the effect to activate/resolve, then tribute the monster for whatever. But you are out of luck if your face-down Flip Effect monster is tributed by the opponent using Soul Exchange, for example. Because it never 'Flips' (even though it goes to the graveyard face up) the effect will not activate.
If your opponent attacks, you can activate Book of Moonto flip the attacking monster face-down and cancel the attack. However, if you chain the activation of Book of Moon with Dark Mirror Force (assuming your opponent has a face-down Defense Position monster WHEN he/she attacks), the attacking monster will not be affected by Dark Mirror Force as a chain always resolves BACKWARDS. Therefore, Book of Moonwould be Chain Link 1 and Dark Mirror Force would be Chain Link 2. When resolving, the effect of Dark Mirror Forceactivates first, removing your opponent's Defense Position monsters (this does not include the attacking monster as it must be face-up and in Attack Position to have attacked in the first place) from play. Then the effect of Book of Moon resolves, flipping the attacking monster face-down. Note that you could not even activate Dark Mirror Force unless your opponent has a Defense Position monster to begin with.Assuming the same scenario, if you decide to activate Dark Mirror Force FIRST, then Book of Moon (targeting the attacking monster), then Dark Mirror Force would become Chain Link 1 and Book of Moon would become Chain Link 2. Again, the chain would resolve backwards, starting with the effect of Book of Moon. Your opponent's attacking monster is flipped face-down first. Then the effect of Dark Mirror Force resolves, Removing from Play all of your opponent's Defense Position monsters, including the original attacking monster (as it is now in Defense Position).
Yes, a Morphtronic monster's face-down effect can still activate when it is flipped face-up, as long as the conditions for activation are met. For Morphtronic Datatron, its effect to inflict 300 damage per turn when in defense position only activates while it is face-up on the field. If it remains face-down, it cannot inflict damage until it is flipped face-up and its effect is activated.
Go to your emails look for fight your monster and click on the activate acount just the same as you activate moshi monsters.
When a monster attacks a defense position monster with DEF equal to to the attacking monster's ATK, no damage is inflicted to either player's Life Points and no monsters are destroyed in battle. Some monsters have effects that activate before or after they battle, so you must take those into account as well.
ayivate your fight my monster
Torrential Tribute and Bottomless Trap Hole can only be used in response to a monster's summon. Attacking a monster does not summon it (note that if the monster is face down, this is a Flip and not a Flip Summon).
how do you activate a moshi monster i know how but it keeps having no emails so i dont know how anymore!
No, if a monster attacks a defense position monster and is then changed to defense position by Kunai with Chain, it cannot be destroyed by battle. In this scenario, the attacking monster is no longer in attack position and thus does not have to compare its attack points to the defense points of the opposing monster. Instead, the battle is resolved in such a way that the attacking monster remains in defense position, and the battle does not result in destruction for either monster.
Destroying a monster does not flip it. But if a monster is flipped face-up when attacked, and considered destroyed by battle, then the flip effect will still activate.
Yes, you can activate Torrential Tribute whenever a monster is summoned. Here's a hint you can also activate on your turn to destroy your opponents monsters.
Soul RopeTRAP/NormalActivate only by paying 1000 Life Points when a monster you control is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard. Special Summon 1 Level 4 monster from your Deck.Soul Rope is activated when a monster is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard. This means that you can activate it when a monster you control is destroyed by battle or by another card effect. You cannot activate Soul Rope if the monster was destroyed during the Damage Step via a card effect such as a Defense Position Berserk Gorilla because the timing would not be correct. You also cannot activate this card if there is an effect that prevents your monster from being sent to the Graveyard (ie. D.D. Warrior or Macro Cosmos).
SkyscraperField Spell/SPELLWhen a monster that includes "Elemental Hero" in its card name attacks, if its ATK is lower than the ATK of the attack target, increase the ATK of the attacking monster by 1000 points during damage calculation only. No, its effect does not activate. "When a monster...attacks...". This automatically tells you that it activates when your monster attacks, but does not activate if your monster is attacked.
There arn't any !
No. When a monster you control attacks a monster with a Defense higher then the Attack of your monster, you take damage equal to the difference but neither monster is destroyed. The only exception is due to card effects such as Des Kangaroo.
