Yes, Yubel will activate if destroyed face down. However Terror Incarnate must be face up when being removed from the field, to summon Ultimate Nightmare.

Can you special summon a monster face down with 'Monster Reborn'?

No, it can't be special summoned except by Fusion Summon, even if you summon it and it is destroyed, it can't be resummoned from the graveyard. However cards like Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon can be summoned with Monster Reborn, if you properly summon it first, and then it goes to the graveayrd.

Does handcuffs dragon come back if it is attacked and not equiped to a monster?

Handcuffs Dragon returns to the field in two ways. - If it is not equipped - if it destroyed by battle, it can become an S/T card equipped to the monster it destroyed. - If it is equipped - if the equipped monster is destroyed and Handcuffs Dragon sent to the graveyard, then it can Special Summon itself. So if it is not Equipped, it cannot special summon itself, only come back as an S/T card if destroyed in battle. If it's acting as an Equip card, it can only special summon itself, it can't re-equip itself to something immediately.

In the card game Yu-Gi-Oh is a Special Summon and Synchro Summon the same thing?

Somewhat, yes. A synchro does not count for you Normal Summon for the turn. This means that you can do multiple Synchro summons in one turn. But if you are implying that a Synchro Summon can be usd for a card effect triggerd by or that needs a special summon, then a Synchro summon will not count. ^That's a bit vague. Synchro Summons will most certainly trigger/count towards effects that look for Special Summons - case in point, Bottomless Trap Hole, which can respond to a Synchro Summon because it is a kind of Special Summon. Special Summon is the default, and then you have special types, like Fusion Summon and Synchro Summon. Anything that looks for a Special Summon, will trigger from any of those. However if it only triggers from a Synchro Summon, then only a Synchro Summon will do, not a regular Special Summon.

What is special summoning in Yu-Gi-Oh?

A normal summon is where you just summon a monster and NOT use its effect or ability, just its ATK and DEF. A special summon is where you summon a card and use its effect or ability. You can only special summon a card if you have another card saying that you can special summon a card, you cannot just going around special summoning every monster.

How does black luster soldier EOB get summoned?

You can only special summon it initially from hand, by removing a Light and a Dark monster from your graveyard (now known as Banishing). If you do this, and it is later destroyed, then you cannot summon it from the graveyard with the same method, as it only works in hand. But as a 'special summon only' monster, you can bring it back with cards like Monster Reborn. (unlike 'cannot be special summoned except by' monsters, who cannot).

Can 'Yubel' use it's effect on another 'Yubel' to bring out 'Yubel - Terror Incarnate'?

No, if the effect of "Yubel" is used on another "Yubel", you will not be able to Special Summon "Yubel - Terror Incarnate". This is because "Yubel" must be destroyed by an effect. The effect of "Yubel" that activates during your End Phase asks for you to tribute a monster, not destroy it.

Is Machina Fortress' special summon effect considered to be activated from the hand or from the grave if you discarded it and one Machine to summon it in Yu-Gi-Oh?

Neither, Machine Fortress' special summon effect is not one that activates.

Do you have to attack man eater bug for the card to use its special?

Absolutely not! As long as Man-Eater Bug is flipped, it's effect activates. This means that if you flip-summon it, it's effect activates also.

If volcanic doomfire attack hydrogenndon and a its effect activates and brings out a new one is it destroyed due to doomfire's effect?

No because Hydrogeddon can't summon another unless it destroys an opponents monster, not when Hydrogeddon is destroyed.

What happens if your opponent activates Scapegoat but you Chain Summon Limit?

Summon Limit restricts the number of times you can Special Summon. Scapegoat summons all 4 tokens at once, so it's a one-time summoning, so your opponent can still summon one more time for that turn.

Can you special summon Lava Golem to your side of the field in Yu-Gi-Oh?

Lava Golem's own special summon effect can only special summon itself to the opponent's side of the field. Like other 'can only be special summoned by..' monsters, if you summon it correctly, and it is then destroyed, it can be brought back to the field by cards like Monster Reborn. In Lava Golem's case, it will be special summoned to your side of the field if you do this.

Where can you special summon Blackwing Hillen the Tengu-wind from in Yu-Gi-Oh?

Hillen the Tengu-Wind triggers and special summons himself while in the graveyard. If he activates his effect and something moves him to another zone, then his effect resolves without effect, the other monster won't be summoned either. He can of course be special summoned from any appropriate zone by any other special summon card as he is not special summon-only and there are no other restrictions.

Is a special summon the same as a tribute summon?

No. A Tribute Summon is a kind of Normal Summon. Special Summons are just Special Summons even if the special summon requires some form of Tribute. That does not make it a Tribute Summon.

How do you special summon a yu-gi-oh?

A special summon is any summon that doesn't count as a normal summon, so you can special summon as many monsters as you wish per turn. But someone can't just special summon a monster by themselves. In order to special summon a monster, there must be a card that lets you do so. For example, the card Call of the Haunted lets you special summon a monster from your graveyard. Or, a monster that lets you special summon it in some way is a special summon. Most monsters that let you special summon it have you need to have destroy or remove from play cards. For example, a monster that needs you to remove from play cards is Dark Necrofear. Dark Necrofear can only be special summoned by removing three Fiend-type monsters from your graveyard. Or, there are monsters that can be special summoned when a condition is met. For example, Tragoedia can be special summoned when you take damage. Or, there are monsters that let you special summon monsters from your deck. An example is UFO Turtle. UFO Turtle can special summon any FIRE-attribute monster from your deck with 1500 ATK or less when it is destroyed by battle. Also, Fusion Summoning, Ritual Summoning, and Synchro Summoning all count as Special Summoning.

Is fusion summon the same as special summon?

A Fusion Summon is a Special Summon and things that can be used against Special Summons can also be used against a Fusion Summon. But not all Special Summons are Fusion Summons, even if they do so happen to summon a Fusion Monster. For example, Cyber Stein Special Summons a fusion monster, it does not Fusion Summon it.
