Heart gold and Soul silver is better because most of the Pokemon in Black and white you don't know if there good or bad,but in Heart gold and Soul silver we all know Lugia and Ho-oh.
Pokemon Platinum is the best. Platinum may be good, but I think the besyt game is the new HeartGold and SoulSilver versions. They are take place in Joto, except this is made for the ds, and it's very similar to platinum. It even comes with a pokewalker accesory, which you can put ur Pokemon onto it, and off of the game. And every 1,000 steps u take with ur pokewalker on ur belt, ur Pokemon u transfered to it levels up!! That way u don't need to battle to gain levels, and u don't need to use up rare candies! In fact, I used to think platinum was the best, but now that I saw the commercial for HeartGold and SoulSilver, I don't want to play any Pokemon game than HeartGold and SoulSilver!
Pokemon soul silver is better then Pokemon heart gold - Well I can't say, because I've only played soulsilver. Soulsilver is AWESOME. Just so you know :D But I have a lot of Pokemon-obsessed friends who've played both, and most of them say soulsilver is better. But they're basically the same game (with a slightly different plot), except in Soulsilver, the main legendary Pokemon is Lugia, and in Heartgold it's Ho-oh. So, which do you like better, Lugia or Ho-oh? Or if you can find a large price difference I'd buy the cheaper one, but I think they cost about the same. Anyways I would go with soulsilver, but they're basically the same so it really doesn't matter. PS: you can get it with or without the pokewalker- I would definitely get it with the pokewalker
You cannot catch Kyogre and Groudon in "HeartGold." In SoulSilver you can catch Groudon and in HeartGold you can catch Kyogre. In SoulSilver. you can get the Red Orb from Mr. Pokémon after you get 1 of the Kanto Starters from Professor Oak. In HeartGold, you get the Blue orb from Mr. Pokémon after getting a Kanto Starter from Oak. Both Kyogre and Groudon have to be from the Embedded Tower in order to get the Jade Orb so that you can get Rayquaza in the Embedded Tower.
Typhlosion, Meganium, Feraligatr, Poliwrath, Gyarados, Nidoking, Scizor, Muk, Arcanine, Machamp, Magmortar, Aerodactyl, Charizard, Blastoise, Venusaur, Dragonit, and Tyranitar are very good when they are a fully realized pokemon. These are Pokemon from both the Jhoto region and the Kanto Region which are both accesible in Pokemon Heart Gold and Soulsilver. I know because i beat both regions.
Its in olivine city in the building above the pokecenter
Heatgold is a really fun game, and is exactly the same soulsilver exept for different Pokemon like heartgold has growlithe and soulsilver has vulpix.
I think that a good site to see all of them would be seribii.net because they have everything including Pokemon heartgold and soul silver.
I bought mine at Toys R Us.. I know it sounds weird, but they have good games there.

They cost a good 40 dollars, but it's really worthwhile, its a long game and it's fun!
yes it is good
I'd say the newest ones are always the "must buys". Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver. Soon Pokemon Black and White will come out. Those will probably be good. My favorite game are the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Series.
Yes.
legendaries are good
They are both equally good, it just depends on your preference of legendary Pokemon. If you want to catch Lugia first, then you would choose SoulSilver, but if you want to catch Ho-oh first, you would choose HeartGold (you can catch both legendary Pokemon in both games, just at different times and different levels). Some people prefer to buy the version that corresponded to the version they had when they were younger, i.e., if they had the original Silver version, they would get SoulSilver. Another deciding factor for some players is the availability of certain Pokemon in-game. There are many version-exclusive Pokemon in each game that requires you to trade from the opposite version of the game. In SoulSilver, version-specific Pokemon include Meowth, Kabuto and Groudon while HeartGold offers Growlithe, Omanyte and Kyogre in their place. Numerically, HeartGold offers more version-exclusive Pokemon than SoulSilver due to fourth generation evolutions and pre-evolutions added to two of the original Silver version Pokemon (Mantine and Gligar earned Mantyke and Gliscor, respectively).
