How do you get to the seventh gym leader on gold?

First of all you need to go to the lake of rage, which is far north of Mahogany Town. There battle the red Gyarados in the lake and talk to a guy in black (Lance) standing below the lake. Then head back to Mahogany Town. Enter the biggest house above the pokecenter here (there are two houses, choose the big one to the left). After a scene go down the stairs newly created.

Here you should battle all the rockets and then go to the second floor. Here Lance will talk to you, and battle one more rocket. Go to the third floor. Battle all the rockets here. Make sure you talk to all of them after the battle. Two rockets will give you a password each. Now go back to where you entered the third floor. Go up and follow this path to the left and go through the stairs.

Here is a room to the right, stand right in front of the thing blocking this room. Click and enter the room. I believe your rival will show up sometime at this floor. Anyway, battle the guy in this room and afterwords get a password from the bird in this room. Walk to the second floor.

Here you are going to go to a thing blocking a large room (looking the same as the one you just saw). Click on it for a battle and then when the scene in over, battle all the electrodes to the left and then Lance will talk to you. When he leaves, leave this house and I am sure you can enter the gym now.

To get to Pryce, you need to catch or defeat the shiny Gyarados at the lake of rage, do not forget that team rocket has taken over and you need to pay money(I am not sure how much because I have beat PkMn trainer Red(Ash) who is on top of Mt silver,Pryce has a seel, dewgong & piloswine, his gym looks like this.
