How do you recruit Celebi in Pokemon Red rescue team?

You have to get a certain apricorn, I think its the silver apricorn, then give it to Kurt. Come back for it a day later and he gives you a GS ball. He also tells you that it shook when he was done. Now go to the shrine in the Illex forest and put the GS ball in it. Celebi will attack you, and it comes at level 30. I don't know its moves, but its type is Pshchic Grass. Dont use your master ball cause that's a total waste, but you can catch it with a Fast Ball or something similar. Oh yeah in order to do this, you have to have the National Dex. You can do that, or you can buy celebi at GameStop any time between February 27th 2011 and March 7th 2011. I much rather prefer buying celebi, because its really hard to find the silver apricorn. To recruit Ho-Oh, you must have a friend bow (on website , there will be a answered question. The question will be 'What is a easy mission in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon to get a Friend Bow' that I posted.) You must NOT be a legendary Pokemon because it will be more difficult to recruit Ho-Oh. It will be easier to recruit him with your starter Leader. At the Mt. Faraway Peak, Hold the friend bow and defeat Ho-Oh. With the friend bow on, he may ask to join your team.

in platinum catch it with the masterball Cyrus gave u from the Galactic HQ.

to get to it u hav to get 7 gym badges then pwn galactic commanders at at all 3 lakes then goto Galactic HQ and own Cyrus and all the grunts then navigate ur way to the top of mt. coronet and pwn Cyrus again then giratinas world will open up.

go into the portal and make ur way through the dimension then defeat Cyrus for the 3rd and final time then u commence battle with origin forme giritina then catch it with the masterball Cyrus gave u from the Galactic HQ.

Get through Purity Forest, which is really hard - you can bring no items and your level is back to one. Your moveset and IQ stars are also gone. (Don't worry, upon exiting the dungeon they all return back to their current level.) When you reach the 99th floor, celebi will automatically join your team without a fight and celebi's friend area is also automatically unlocked. However, beating purity forest is pure luck. So, good luck!

An event Celebi cannot be sent to a friend using the Wonder Card for it, but you can trade it by going to the Union Room (middle lady, second floor of Pokemon Center in Pokemon SoulSilver and HeartGold, Diamond and Pearl) and meeting up with a friend wirelessly (not through Wi-Fi).
