In order for the Snorelax to wake up play the Poke flute channel on the Pokegear radio and then walk up to the Snorelax and click the ''A'' button and it should wake up and battle you. Once it is defeated you will be free to come and go through the tunnel as you please. Tip: that is one of the few opportunities in the game to catch a Snorelax make sure to have a Pokemon that knows cut with you because there is a small tree bocking the path at the other end of the tunnel
