Draco has never owned the EW, but as he disarmed Dumbledore, he became its 'chosen master' for a while; and when Harry overpowered Draco, the EW chose Harry over Draco.

What wand did Harry Potter defeat Lord Voldemort with?

Harry used the Hawthorn wand that was previously Draco Malfoy's. It went like this:In order to truly own the Elder wand, a wizard would have to take the wand of the current master against their wishes. Albus Dumbledore was the true master of the Elder wand. Draco Malfoy became the next true owner when he disarmed Albus Dumbledore right before his death. However, the Elder wand was buried with Dumbledore. Draco never knew he was the new master. Later, Harry took Draco's Hawthorn wand while he was escaping Malfoy Manor. Since Malfoy was the current master of the Elder wand, this passed the Elder wand's ownership on to Harry. In the meantime, Voldemort broke into Dumbledore's tomb and stole the Elder wand. Voldemort thought that Snape was the new master, as he had killed Dumbledore, not realizing that Draco had disarmed Dumbledore. Voldemort killed Snape and believed himself to be the new Elder wand master. When it came down to the final duel in the Great Hall, Voldemort used the Elder wand that Harry was now master of. Voldemort cast an Avada Kedavra curse at Harry. Harry cast an Expelliarmus spell. Since Harry was the master of the wand Voldemort was using, the Elder Wand would not kill its true master, therefore, Voldemort's Avada Kedavra rebounded off of the Expelliarmus and killed him.

Since snape killed dumbledoor and Voldemort killed snape and harry killed Voldemort does that mean harry controls the elder wand?

~Yes it means Harry controls the Elder Wand. Because the Elder wand is controlled by whoever defeats its previous welder(owner).Notes:1. Voldemort killed himself (accidentally).2. Neither Snape or Voldemort has ever been the real master of the Elder Wand. (Read the book for more information.)Another reply: Yes, Harry controls the elder wand - but not for the reasons given in the question. The way Harry explained it:It was not really Snape who defeated Dumbledore, but Draco Malfoy. This made Draco the owner of the elder wand.Harry later defeated Draco, becoming the owner of the elder wand.

What happens to the elder wand after Voldemort dies?

When Voldemort dies, the Elder Wand flies out of Voldemort's hand into Harry's, since Harry was the wand's true master. What Voldemort failed to understand is that holding the Elder Wand is not enough to make it work properly for you; it must be properly won, like any other wand, from its previous master in order for it to have an affinity with the new person using it. Voldemort believed that simply by taking it from Dumbledore's tomb, it would change its allegiance and make him the most powerful wizard alive. However, Harry beat him to the Elder Wand's mastery: He Disarmed Draco Malfoy while escaping from Malfoy Manor (remember that Draco Malfoy was the one that properly won the wand from Dumbledore before the Headmaster's death, not Snape!). Therefore, the Elder Wand would not kill Harry, its true master, and the Killing Curse rebounded upon Voldemort, ending his life.

Why did Lord Voldemort want Albus Dumbledore's wand?

Voldemort believed the Elder Wand would make him invincible.

Who is the master of Elder wand?

Harry gets it because Draco Malfoy took control of it when he disarmed Dumbledore. Harry forcibly took Draco's normal wand against Draco's will, and therefore became master of the elder wand. He physically took possession of it when the wand betrayed Voldemort, Voldemort died, and Harry took it.

How does harry get the elder wand from Voldemort?

Well the Elder wand has a long backstory but basically Dumbledore starts off with it in the book. Then when Draco disarms Dumbledore he becomes it's master unknowingly. Then Harry over powers Draco becoming the new owner. Voldemort kills Snape who killed Dumbledore so he BELIEVES that he is the true master of the Elder Wand. Then Harry and Voldemort face off Harry being the master of the Elder Wand. Voldemort's wand (The Elder wand) Then flies to it's true owner leaving Voldemort defenceless. Hope it helps!

How did Harry Potter get the elder wand?

He takes it from voldemort Dumbledore had been master of the Elder Wand since 1945. When Draco Malfoy disarmed Dumbledore at the top of the Astronomy tower at Hogwarts, before his death, he earned the wand's allegiance (Draco didn't realize this). The wand was then buried with Dumbledore. When Harry was captured by Snatchers in the Deathly Hallows, he wrestled Draco Malfoy's wand from him before Disapparating, and the Elder Wand switched its allegiance to Harry. The next morning, Voldemort broke into Dumbledore's tomb and took the Elder Wand for himself. During the Battle of Hogwarts, Harry realizes he is the true master of the Elder Wand and in the final battle against Voldemort, he uses Expelliarmus to disarm the Dark Lord. Voldemort's killing curse rebounds on him and kills him, because the Elder Wand cannot kill its true master, Harry.

Did Draco Malfoy take the elder wand from Albus Dumbledore after he died?

Draco was the actual master of the elder wand because Dumbledore's death was already planned, so when Snape killed him, it wasn't actually a takeover of the wand. Because Draco was the last to disarm Dumbledore, or 'take' his wand, it recognized Draco as it's master. This is how Voldemort was ultimately killed, because Harry was using Draco's original wand. The elder wand recognized the wand as its master's, so Voldemort's killing curse was turned back upon him. However, Draco never actually had the Elder Wand in his possession. He never even knew he was the master until Harry revealed it.
