3 times. First was when she tried to escape an inferno but got burned on her leg. Second was when she dropped a nest of genetically-altered wasps called tracker jackers onto other tributes, for the stings cause searing pain. Third was when she tried to find help for a critically ill Peeta and the girl from District 2 threw a knife that sliced Katniss right above the eye

What do wildflowers symbolize in the hunger games?

rue, in my mind symbolizes katniss's breaking point. The only reason she didnt hurt rue is because she was tiny and defensless, rue was really the true mockingjay, unfortinantly she died. BUt she would truly in the mind of katniss be the mockingjay by how she was described as a bird taking flight. So rue symbolizes the mockingjay in its purest form.
