Using a PokeAssist is relatively the same in both Pokemon Ranger and Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia. To use a PokeAssist, you must have two things - a captured Pokemon with the ability to use a PokeAssist and for you to be engaged in capturing a Pokemon. On the capture screen of Pokemon Ranger, there should be a small icon the the bottom right of your screen in the shape of a Pokemon. Tap on this icon and you will be taken to a screen where all your captured Pokemon are shown. Tap on the Pokemon whose PokeAssist you wish to use. Be wary that different types of PokeAssists have different results when used and can be strong or weak against the target Pokemon. They also have time limits which may vary with the evolutionary forms of that Pokemon. Once the Pokemon has been selected, you will be returned to the capture screen. Some PokeAssists (like your partner's Discharge) will be used automatically, while others rely on the action of your stylus. Depending on the type of PokeAssist, you will have to act accordingly. A PokeAssist will cease to take effect once you capture the target Pokemon or the time limit runs out. Be aware that some PokeAssists will not work until you have obtained a particular Ranger Rank. Although, by the time you encounter the Pokemon, you are most likely to be on that rank anyway. In Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia, the process is very much the same. On the capture screen, a small icon to the bottom right of the screen (resembling a capture disc) gives you access to the captured Pokemon you have on hand. As an extra, Pokemon with red backgrounds mean they are very effective against the target Pokemon, while Pokemon with blue backgrounds are hardly effective. If you have no Pokemon with you or your partner Pokemon's power gauge is not completely full, you will not be able to use a PokeAssist. To fill your partners gauge (in either game), circle the target Pokemon repeatedly until it is full.
u can't get every Pokemon in diamond. only if u have a action replay or another game cheat thing but these are the legendary Pokemon u can get. dialga for diamond and palkia for pearl uxie, mesprit, azelf, heatran. manaphy only if u have a manaphy egg on Pokemon ranger and u have to migrate it to Pokemon diamond/pearl. and there are much more.....but i forgot u can't get every Pokemon in diamond. only if u have a action replay or another game cheat thing but these are the legendary Pokemon u can get. dialga for diamond and palkia for pearl uxie, mesprit, azelf, heatran. manaphy only if u have a manaphy egg on Pokemon ranger and u have to migrate it to Pokemon diamond/pearl. and there are much more.....but i forgot

well actually there is much but i will tell u some of the strongest legendaries 1arceas 2shaymin 3darkrai 4palkia 5dialga 6celebi 7deoxys number1,2,4,5 must be downloaded u must download the missions
use action replay, or use cheats, that's pretty much the only way
It more depends on the rom, I use No$GBA and i have found roms that work and some that don't. Though i recommend actually getting the game cause its much harder to use the capture system with your mouse

What you do is: Go to ranger net, and complete the wifi missions. you will need a ROM and a mission injector to do this, as they are no longer available. These are all easy downloads from the internet, you shouldn't have much problem if you use Google. Next, Play through the wifi missions, and in the menu, there should be an option to send Pokemon (send/transfer/etc) boot up Pokemon pearl and go to mystery gift. There are various guides on the internet to help you with this, as well as being on serebii so I won't explain it here. next go to receive gift in mystery gift menu, and select receive from friend. then send the Pokemon from your ranger and wait. Hope I helped :)
