Background: I am married to an Indian lady from Bombay. She moved here from her hometown around 1990 and attended a University for her Masters in Biomedical Engineering. I was a Golf course worker at the time and met none of the typical criteria.
I won her heart and we got married without her parents blessings. She was disowned and heartbroken. After 1 year though, we went to India and stayed at her parents home. The ice was broke because I read about Indian culture and listened to my wife about culture differences.
