It is a trip through the history of the earth and the various methods of communication that the human species has used and invented throughout time. MISSION:Space is a very intense thrill ride. You sit in a motion simulator which spins to simulate zero-g. the story is that you are flying a spaceship to mars.
Due to the fact that Epcot's name was originally an acronym standing for 'Experimental Prototype Community of Tommarow', it was built to become a place to show off what Walt Disney hoped a community would look like in the future. However, it later didn't become this same thought, after his death.

Yes, It was originally supposed to be the Magic Kingdom and an experimental community called EPCOT (Experimental Prototype City Of Tomorrow). In late 1966 Disney was scheduled to undergo a neck surgery for an old polo injury. On November 2, 1966, during pre-surgery X-rays, doctors across the street from the Disney Studio discovered that Disney had a tumor on his left lung. Disney went back to hospital for surgery, but the tumor had spread to such great extent that doctors had to remove his entire left lung. The doctors then told Disney that he only had six months to a year to live. He died on December 15, 1966 at 9:30 a.m. Roy Disney continued to carry out the Florida project, insisting that the name be changed to Walt Disney World in honor of his brother. EPCOT became another park (EPCOT Center) and the magic kingdom was a nickname until there was a need for disambiguation.
