I would really have to say that Bruce Lee is probably the better martial artist in terms of his extensive training, competitive experience and because of developing his own system which is still taught today. Jackie Chan is the first to say that his skills are 'movie' skills and Jean Claude Van Damme did not do Martial Arts competitively and focused on his movie career instead.
