No, she denies that she has feelings for Peeta.
The anticlimax of the Hunger Games story was when your mum was reading the book and suddenly exclaimed, "Peeta is such a strong willed young boy. I wouldn't mind dating him!" Your mom's 64. :S
Well Peeta loved Katniss for as long as he can remember so it was true when he announced his love for her in the interview but Haymitch said to Katniss that Peeta only said it to get more sponsors so it was Haymitch's idea to act like she was in love with him<3
rue, in my mind symbolizes katniss's breaking point. The only reason she didnt hurt rue is because she was tiny and defensless, rue was really the true mockingjay, unfortinantly she died. BUt she would truly in the mind of katniss be the mockingjay by how she was described as a bird taking flight. So rue symbolizes the mockingjay in its purest form.
everyone - their life[stay alive] and finding food. (external) everyone - their well-being (internal) good example is peeta's leg in the cave. katniss and peeta - their love and persuading the districts and viewers it is true.
Ever since Peeta first saw Katniss he was in love with her. Katniss's' first memory of him was when she was starving and she tried looking for food in Peeta's family's bins. His mother chased her away put Peeta purposely burnt a loaf of bread so Katniss could have it. Peeta tells Katniss in the 74th Hunger Games that he remembers that in assembly Katniss was the first to volunteer to sing a song. He declares it in the interview to help Katniss in the arena an made her look more vulnerable. Katniss takes this offensively and accidently injures Peeta. Haymitch then convinces Katniss that this was a good thing.
Your question is confusing, but yes in the hunger games, Katniss pushes Peeta into an urn the night before the games and he cuts his hands.

No, Katniss and Peeta do not get engaged in The Hunger Games, however, for the Capitol and for the viewers, Peeta proposes to Katniss on live television, though they never officially get married. However, at the interviews during the third Quarter Quell, or the 75th Hunger Games, Peeta anounces that he and Katniss did in fact get married at home and that she is pregnant. However, that is not true, they offically get married in the third book, MockingJay, at the end of the book, during the Epilogue.

Haymitch is a good character in The Hunger Games. Most consider him bad for the following reasons:He is usually drunkHe has a mild temper, and is usually in a bad attitudeHaymitch is a good character for the following reasons:He helps and mentors Katniss and PeetaHe helps Katniss in discovering her true destiny: becoming the MockingjayHe is with Katniss through everything (sometimes grudgingly) she goes through.
yes but it could come true
katniss meant that she was angry for rue's death and she will show cato in these game that she will win. ^This cannot be true, as Rue has not died at this point. She thinks this statement to herself as she sees Cato's outrage when their supplies are blown up from the mines/bombs which are reactivated by the D3 Male. Basically, they are called the Hunger Games as 'exposure can kill just as easily as a knife.' This means that as the Careers are used to being well fed, they are not used to foraging and do not know which plants are edible. Katniss then has the upper hand as the Careers have to either risk dying of poisonous food found in the arena, or starving to death. Therefore, she says it as she feels she has finally levelled the playing field, but she really now has the upper hand.
The Hunger Games is a Trilogy so Peeta and Katniss are important because the next two books are based on them and their life. The 3 books are 1. The Hunger Games 2. Mocking Jay 3. Catching Fire
In the hunger games what is true about a bird called jabberjay
She accomplished saving her and her families lives, getting District 12 bombed, saving Flavius, Octavia, and Venia, then stops the Hunger Games. There may be more, that's what I remember off the top of my head.
Everybody has their own feelings about the Hunger Games series, but it's true that some parts are very moving, and fans (like me) can get very emotional reading the books. The story is sad. I don't know if you have read the whole series, but if you have, I think you should have noticed that the Hunger Games is not a 'happy' book. Katniss, the main character, loses people she loves. She is forced to fight in the arena. You can't say it's not sad when Rue gets killed. But everybody has their own opinions.
