My brother might be turning into a weeaboo. He draws a lot of anime in his sketchbook and plays a lot of Jrps. How can I get him to stop becoming a weeb?

No, to be an otaku is to have an encyclepedia like knowledge of anime, manga, games, ect. to be a weeaboo is to have verry little knowledge on these subjects and pretend you do or worse actually belive it. They decive others as well as themselves and don't do a verry god job of it. nothing more than pale imitations, pretenders to the throne, posers, phony, an annoying plague on our little community. They are pretty much the worst people in the world.

It is evident that he or she is one of those people who revere the eagle as a divine and ultimately perfect creature. The former I have no problem with, but people like this person become blind to the animal's faults. I do believe that eagles of all species are highly intelligent, but in fact the "brightest bird ever" is the crow or raven.

Why do people like vocaloid?
I think because their weeaboo and they think everything anime is good, i have listen to a couple of vocaloid songs but its really screechy and horrible. i stick to real people thank you very much --Ah, while it's true that there are a lot of weeby fans, I personally love the idea. Anyone can compose music and have a vocalist without hiring anyone or having to sing it themselves. I like writing music, but I can't sing for my life. If I wanted to publish something, I could buy a Vocaloid, write a bunch of songs using it, and sell an album. While it's true that they generally do not sound as pleasant as a real singer, it's no worse than a heavily autotuned singer, especially when edited well. As for liking Vocaloid songs, I tend to like the lyrics a lot, and if you find a popular song it's almost guaranteed to have several nice covers from the community, which lead to fun things like choruses and duets. It's also fairly easy to find bass guitar and piano covers for them, unlike with other music I like. The popular opinion seems to be that the lyrics are more meaningful and that the fanbase is more tightly-woven than anything in modern Western music, but I don't think that either of those are particularly true.
