Harry and Ginny end up together and Ron and Hermione end up together. Tonks' dad, Ted Tonks is killed; Tonks and Lupin name their son Teddy after him. Teddy goes to his grandmother after his parents die. Half of one of George's ears is blown off. There's a bit at the end of the book where Jo goes into the future. Teddy and Bill and Fleur's, daughter, Victoire, are going out; Teddy comes over to the Potter's house a lot because Harry is his godfather, Harry and Ginny have three kids (James, Albus Severus, and Lily) and Hermione and Ron have two (Hugo and Rose). Plus, he thinks Snape has something to do with it. Though Ron and Hermione do not believe Malfoy is doing anything he's not supposed to, Harry still gets a shrewd idea that will shock you at the very end.

It's hard to tell, since we don't actually see him as headmaster and only hear bits of information. Given that the school was under death eater rule, Snape did his best to protect the students as much as he could. Unfortunately, he couldn't stop the Carrow's from torturing students otherwise Voldemort would have questioned his loyalty.

If Voldemort killed Harry Potter would he have died?
Voldemort tried to kill Harry many times, however it didn't exactly work out for him. When Voldemort tried to kill him for the first time he didn't succeed because Lily died to save Harry yet Voldemort did not understand this and still sent the killing curse towards Harry which of course back fired and destroyed Voldemort's body as well as the Potter's house. Voldemort didn't die because he had created six horcruxes which stored parts of his soul in objects important to him - until these were destroyed Voldemort couldn't be killed. Unknown to Voldemort was that when he tried to kill baby Harry and ended up hitting himself his soul split again and one of those bits attached to Harry - the only living thing in the house. That is why Voldemort was never successful at killing Harry any time after that (and because Harry had learned to fight back) had Voldemort hit Harry before then, say in the graveyard in Goblet of Fire, Harry wouldn't have died but the part of Voldemort's soul inside him would have (although Voldemort would most likely have hit him again with the curse after neither of them could explain what had happened). When Harry finally realized all of this (Voldemort was still unaware) he allowed himself to be hit by the killing curse, which didn't kill him but the part of Voldemort's soul inside him. All the other horcruxes were destroyed which meant that when Harry and Voldemort had their final showdown whoever was hit with a killing curse would have died. Had Harry not been quick enough then yes; he would have died.
Can Ron and Hermione defeat Voldemort?
No they can't for two reasons. Part of Voldemort's soul was inside Harry and the only way to destroy Voldemort was to destroy all bits of his soul - therefore Harry had to be hit by the killing curse. On top of that Voldemort was using the Elder Wand which regonzised Harry as it's owner because Harry overpowered the previous owned of the wand (Draco Malfoy) who had become the owned by disarming Dumbledore before his death. Therefore when Voldemort sent the killing curse towards Harry and he disarmed it the elder wand flew from Voldemort's hand (allowing Harry's disarming curse to send the killing curse back to Voldemort which then hit and killed him) into Harry's hand.

When the curse went wrong, rather than Harry becoming his last victem, the curse transferred bits of Voldemort's soul into Harry. Voldemort was a parseltongue, and thus that transeferred to Harry.
