born in 1741. Benedict Arnold was a us genaral during the revoulutionary war. He was washingtons leading man. but his family need support, he became a tratior and joined the british army. Washington put an award for 4,00 pounds for his finding. he was not found. after the war he returned to England but was not welcome. he died a misrible death in 1801 at the age of 60.
