Around 1849, Harriet Tubman made two escapes from slavery. First, she and her two brothers escaped after being lent to a neighboring plantation. When her brother learned he had become a father, he forced them all to return with him. Later, Harriet successfully escaped, alone and never returned.

She has tactics. She hid in water during the day so the blood hounds couldn't find her and she hid in a cave at night. Also she would hide passage ways in music.
