They both share aspects of the fantasy genre. Although Star Wars is classified as Science Fiction, it shares elements with the fantasy series. Both books feature a farm boy orphan character, who later find out there is more to their story. Both Luke and Eragon unknowingly grow up under the eye of a wise old man, by an uncle who raised him and is then killed by the impenetrably cowled servants of the Evil Empire. They set off far away from home to seek revenge and find latent powers. In both cases, the wise old man turns into their mentor after the hero was sent to them by a captured princess, and teaches them to use their magical powers in about five days. In both cases, the mentor gives the hero a sword inherited from the fathers before themselves dying. Both farm boys meet up with kickbutt antiheroes, rescues the captive princesses, who play major roles in the Rebel armies, and become key members before going to train with a half-mad old hermit in the forest. After this, he discovers that his father was the Empire's right-hand man and he's been betrayed by his own family.

No. There is no evidence there will be a remake of the movie Eragon. Considering how poorly received the first one was, financially & critically, there is no expectation any studio would want to invest in the Eragon series of books again.
Stefen Fangmeier directed the movie Eragon, but the story was based off the book Eragon which was written by Christopher Paolini.

So far, one. It would appear that there are no plans to further the movies, however when the first one was released there was a rumor of a second movie. The first movie was so far off of the first book that chances are they decided after the bad reviews not to make a second movie.
