The Pokemon virus (known as pokerus) is a disease in Pokemon emerald. Your Pokemon can catch, but it will not harm it. The pokerus virus doubles your exp points after a battle. If you put the infected Pokemon in your PC, then it will spread to them as well. The only way to check for pokerus is if you heal your Pokemon at a center. The nurse will tell you which one is infected. It lasts for at least two days.

∙ 12y agoThe Pokemon pocket virus is when the Pokemon who has the virus I think gets much better skills when it's level is raised by something or whatever. JUst to sum it up it's GOOD for your Pokemon. It helps it training a lot.

As described by Nurse Joy when you first take the infected Pokemon to her, the Pokerus is a little tiny life form that attaches to your Pokemon, but does no harm to the Pokemon. It only boosts the amount of experience points you can get.
Train hard while it lasts, because once a Pokemon gets rid of it, it can't have it again. It is also extremely rare.

∙ 10y agoAn in-game virus called Pokerus exists. This virus is actually programmed into the game and causes pokemon's statistics to increase more than non-contaminated pokemon.
It's odd for a virus to be helpful but if your pokemon catches it consider a good thing because the chances that it will catch it is very rare. The cause comes from wild pokemon as some will be infected with the virus.
This pokemon will look no different but when you check its summary a purple status problem bar with the letters PKRS will be displayed. Having this pokemon around any others in the party will infect the pokemon with the virus as well.
The virus can go away after a period of time however no actual cure exists as of yet beyond waiting.

The only way to get Pokerus is by chance. I do not know the exact percent chance for finding it, but I do know that it is much more rare than finding a Shiny pokemon. the only way I can suggest you get it easily is find somebody who already has it and trade with him/her.

It is hard, though, because you don't know if a Pokemon has it, and the odds are about the same as finding a shiny, which is extremly low odds. What you do is, after you encounter a wild Pokemon that you think has pokerus, you go to a Pokemon center and the nurse will say if your Pokemon has it. It only lasts for a few days in your party, so have one Pokemon infect all of you party Pokemon, then put all but one Pokemon in your PC, then put 5 uninfected Pokemon from your PC to your party, and eventually those Pokemon will have the virus as well, then repeat.

yes but to get it you must get a Pokemon with the lowest level possible.best way to get it though is to make any wild Pokemon u run into, faint, that way if they have the virus, it will jump onto the Pokemon the fought it, also, do not use any proteins or stat upgrades, otherwise it will not affect your party. the pokerus boosts up your pokemons effort points, but if you've maxed it out with proteins or any others, the pokerus will not work. Best way to raise a Pokemon is if...Make it get the pokerus, have it at lowest level possible, don't give it stat upgrades, and make it hold macho brace. That way it will gain 4 times as much effort points. Also, another hint, best Pokemon to fight if you want high Attack and Special Attack would be fighting Rayquaza or Mewtwo, best way to raise up a Pokemon's Defense and Special Defense is by making it fight Registeel or Snorlax. To increase highest HP, fight Chanseys or Blisseys. For highest speed, fight Electrode or Alakazams.
Where do yo find Dialga?
I know that you can find it on Pokemon Diamond, or via trade with people. To go with the first option, you must have gotten to Snowpoint City, or less than that far. You must travel into the caves of Mt. Coronet just until your around the end of the caves,(HMS will be required to get through the caves) and as you find your way around you may find yourself at Spear Pillar. You will have a "friendly chat" with team galactic, then you will face up to Dialga, the mighty legend and father of time! Be ready with ultra great, and dusk balls! I don't suggest quickballs after using them at leat 3 time. I suggest using a Pokemon with endeavor to take down It's hp to 10 or less. Why did I not say to use the master ball, hmm? Well it is because you can also use it to catche the rare giritina, heatran, or regigigas! Suggestion 2 considers catching a shiny, and trading it to either a friend, but be warned, because shinies get pokevirus more often, leading to getting more exp way faster, i got a shiny dialga, and it is already level 100, and from only a month ago,so anyway, either go slowly over wifi to get dialga if you have seen it before, or catch it. Can somebody make you a strong Pokemon team using the Pokemon listed below?
well, since u didnt specify, might as well let yu copy mine; but several words though: this is my battle tower team, so the max number is four (i like battling people from around the world). electivire lv100, holding Muscle Band: thunderpunch, cross chop, ice punch, rock slide rhyperior lv 100, holding Quick Claw and Lightningrod ability: megahorn, hammer arm, earthquake, fire fang gyarados lv 100, holding Expert Band: waterfall, iron head, bounce, ice fang dusknoir lv 100, holding : shadow punch, brick break, faint attack, rock slide *words of advice for using this team: in double-battles, pair rhyperior up with gyarados and you've got yourself an almost unstoppable duo, and have dusknoir and electivire as back-up pair. for single-battles, bust out electivire first, followed by gyarados and dusknoir (or rhyperior if u choose). this team led me up on the top 10 on wifi double battles (#5 to be exact) for three straight weeks. **it might also help if u EV train them too. since they all specialize in the attack stat, u might wanna battle Pokemon that offer the award point for attack. i trained them by battling alot of gyarados at route 229 (by using super rod which will always snag a gyarados). it might also help if u use macho brace orpower bracer. it might REALLY help if u find a pokevirus, but i don't reccommend it cuz it'll just waste ur time looking for it. of course, my Pokemon had it cuz i received a Pokemon over wifi with it and i spread it to them. this is just my team, u don't have to copy it. might help you in deciding your team.
