What is the best Star Trek series?

According to the votes of users at TV.com, the best Next Generation episode was "The Best of Both Worlds, Part 1", in which Captain Picard is assimilated by the Borg. "Part 2", ranks third, after the series finale "All Good Things..., Part 2".

My personal favorite is "Cause and Effect", in which the Enterprise is destroyed repeatedly while in a time loop. The clever direction (by Jonathan Frakes) of the repeated-yet-different scenes adds subtle humor to the high-concept plot.

Another good one is Q Who, when Q sends the Enterprise to Borg space.

Star Trek is a big theme, 760 episodes by my count

I haven't seen all of them but my favourite is Broken bow (2 parts)

If you're referring to the original series, most fan polls vote "City on the Edge of Forever" as the best episode.

I think my favorite episode would have to be ST:TOS "Mirror, Mirror"

That is a fairly subjective question so difficult to give a definitive answer, but the Original Series and the Next Generation are normally considered the best.
Star Trek: Voyager in my opinion is the best. I have seen all of the series and Voyager is the best in my opinion. The crew has very good personalitys and the Doctor is AWESOME!
