Well, this is my team and it works just fine for me. Except I'm thinking of putting Unfezant in the PC because I think there's a stronger flying Pokemon out there.

FYI this is my team just after defeating N and Team Plasma. My Pokemon are on levels 62 or 63. I still havent defeated Alder or have i defeated the Elite Four the second run through.

I have defeated the Elite 4 with this team:

Samurott:Surf, Aqua tail,Hydro cannon, Ice beam (84)- Lucky egg

Kyrurem:Glaciate, Dragon Pulse, Shadow Ball, Blizzard (78)

Krookodile:Crunch, Assurance, Dig, Embargo (43)- Xp share

Braviary: Areial ace, Sky drop, Crush claw, Fly (59)

Zekrom: Fusion Bolt, Stength, Zen Headbutt, cut (58)

Haxorus: focus Blast, False swipe, Slash, Dragon claw (56)

you can replace samurott with any of the starters, Kyurem with Cobalion(if trained) or Terrakion (if trained) or Viriszion (trained). Braviary with Mandibuzz. Zekrom with Reshiram

A great Pokemon in black version is scrafty, especially wen u breed it correctly, and ev train it correctly , it is nearly unstoppable, take a smeargle, and sketch dragon dance, thn sketch ice punch, thn sketch drain punch, thn u take this smeargle( MUST BE MALE!!) and u breed it with a female scrafty or scraggy, and the baby will have those moves, u will thn want to hatch eggs until u get the nature adament , which ups attk, and the effect moxie, which ups attk every time u ko a Pokemon, , thn u give the baby 10 protein, an 10 carbos, thn giv it pokerus, and make it hold the power bracer, thn go to route 1 ( wen there isn't an outbreak) an fight lillipups and patrats, which normally give off 1 atk ev, but bcuz u hav pokerus an the power bracer u will get 10 evs , cuz with the power bracer it will add 4 evs onto the one tht u are already getting, thn pokerus will double it to make 10! So u already hav 100 evs in attk thnx to the proteins , so u will only hafto 15 lillipups or patrats to get 250 evs, thn take off the power bracer, thn fight another patrat, or lillipup, to get 2 evs in stead of 1 cuz of pokerus, thn do the same thing with blitzles an purrloins, to get all 252 evs in spd, so now u hav a fully ev traind baby scraggy, now just train it to lv 70 an it will hav about 230 atk an 158 spd, an wen it tries to learn crunch let it learn crunch, so ur move set will b crunch, ice punch, drain punch, an dragon dance, in a battle if u use dragon dance it will make ur atk pretty much double so will ur spd, so ull hav like 500 atk , an 400 spd, thn if u ko the Pokemon tht ur fighting thnx to moxie ur atk will double again , so u will have about 1000 atk!!! Ice punch is gud fir dragons, grass, flyin rock and ground, crunch for psychic, and ghost I believe, thn drain punch is good for normal, dark , rock , ground, an steel and ice, an it also heals ur health a little, so ur scrafty will b pretty much unstoppable, unless there is somthing uber fast like garchomp , with a high attk , like garchomp lol, who can brick break u , an 1hko u, but if ur faster just use icepunch, with this info tht I hav just givin u , u can even take out even the most peskiest Pokemon like garchomp, unless he's on ur team lol , I hope tht helped, srry it was so long haha

It depends really on what starter you had andstrengths & weaknesses.

If you chose Snivy as your starter, I recommend Sandile and Psyduck
Grass Is strong against Water (Sandile's weakness)

Ground Is strong against Electric (Psyduck's weakness)

Water Is strong against Fire (Snivy's weakness)

If you chose Tepig as your starter, I recommend Roggenrola and Sewaddle

Fire Is strong against Grass (Roggenrola's weakness)

Rock Is strong against Flying (Sewaddle's weakness)

Grass Is Strong Against Water (Tepig's weakness)

If you chose Oshawott as your starter, I recommend Sunkern and Growlithe

Water Is strong against Fire (Sunkern's weakness)

Grass Is strong against Water (Growlithe's weakness)

Fire Is strong against Grass (Oshawott's weakness)

Please note:

Not all weaknesses are mentioned in this post and you may interpret the type info as you like e.g. you could you Magby instead of Growlithe
