∙ 14y agoThere is evidence to the fact that they are still alive, and did not die at the end of the series.
In the Beatrice Letters, Beatrice makes reference to the three, Sunny being a reknowned cook, and Violet being alive, even though at the end of the books they went into "The Great Unknown" and the fact that the boat they were on, Beatrice, sunk.
Therefore, give or take, it is your choice to decide. I would suggest reading the beatrice letters in detail to make an informed choice.
