If you're talking about the Aircraft Carrier, it was actually at sea during that time, and the USS Ranger was filmed in its place. If you're talking about the STARSHIP, its interiors were filmed at Paramount Studios, somewhere in California.

We walked up and down the stairs and got breathless, as they are very steep.
