Why do people that haven't been sorted into Gryffindor get access to special material from Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone on Pottermore?

Anybody who is able to access the site now is a Beta Tester who are testing things. Your house does not limit what material you can access, everybody sees the same thing except the welcome message when your sorted into a house and your common room.
