Nickelodeon shows other shows besides Cartoons because they wanted the channel to be viewed by all ages, not just children. Shows with actors instead of shows with cartoons appeal more to adolescents and adults.
Television during the day (known as "daytime television") has poor viewership, especially among school-aged children who enjoy being outside etc. For that reason few new/popular shows are shown because that would cost money. Spongebob and iCarly have numerous shows on hand that they can send repeatedly at low cost.
Production ended in 2005 because Dan Schneider left. I hear ya though, I miss those 90's shows! What kind of world do we live in where TV sucks now? LOL hope this helps :-)
She starred in the shows "All That" and "The Amanda Show" on Nickelodeon.
The younger age finds most things they newly discovered funny or entertaining. When you turn thirteen you start to go through puberty and the cartoons change and they aren't that interesting. But the cartoons you see as a child, and you see older after 13, you'll still love it. And not all cartoons are children cartoons. Some are for adults and teens. A lot of anime is for the older teens and they are cartoons, just from a different country. With me, I hate the new cartoon shows on cartoon network and nickelodeon. But I still like Pokemon and Spongebob. It's also sometimes you watch the shows so many times it gets boring. Also a newer show finished on nickelodeon. It's an anime style show called Avatar.
They do it's just reruns.
No, they did not return to the Nickelodeon channel on March 14, 2011. You can watch those shows on OnDemand if you have it. Also they play CatDog sometimes on the Nicktoons station. You can also watch episodes on youtube or buy them on iTunes or any store online that still sells it.
You might've seen it when she showed it on either 'iCarly', 'Drake and Josh' or other Nickelodeon shows or films.
CatDog was one of the best shows. There were other good cartoons on Nickelodeon too.
Nickelodeon does have children's cartoons, however, the majority of their programming is geared for older children. NickJr. is the division of Nickelodeon that shows toddler appropriate programming.
Nickelodeon features shows geared for kids. Staples include shows such as Spongebob Squarepants, older cartoons and live actions shows geared towards kids.
