The next day, mama takes Stacey to a house that has a man who has been burnt by the wallaces. " Thats why you never go there. They are bad people" she said. Thats how stacey got in trouble.
Mrs Logan doesn't punish her children for going to the Wallace store because she understands the necessity of their purchase and the danger they faced.
