As of the newest chapter, he is currently fighting Hollow Ichigo and Zangetsu in one form, so we'll have to keep checking :) Yes he did mange to at the end because Ichigo was able to over come hollow Ichigo and is now training to stay hollowfied his limit is 12 seconds at the moment and now zangetsu is back instead of Hollow Ichigo . You will find out that Zangetsu and Hollow Ichigo are the same people just in differnt body when u see hollow means he is control when you see zangetsu means he is in control
What episode does ichigo first meet zangetsu?

Ulquiorra doesn't really die in the TV series. In some episode like in the 200's, Ichigo is about to stab him and then it blacks out. In the next episode, it went to some other time in the Soul Society with a completely different setting, it had nothing to do with Aizen or anything. But, in the manga, I think from episode 340-355, he...never mind, I don't want to spoil it. EPISODE 271 to be exact. Not in English dub yet

Who ever answered this, you gotta consider the facts here, Toshirou without his limiter on , was getting beaten by Luppi and only because of him being thrown into the water by his release did he gain the advantage, and Grimmjow murdered Luppi so quickly no one could have stopped him. Ichigo beat Grimmjow and is now fighting on par with the No. 4 Espada, so I think Ichigo's reiatsu could easily break free of his ice attacks. Ichigo may be strong but, It also depends on which form it is that Ichigo is in. If its in first fullbring to second fullbring he would loose. Complete fullbring stands a chance against Toshiro. But if Ichigo is in any form upon which he can control his inner hollow for longer than 11 seconds at a time, Toshiro (I'm sad to say) is dead. Because Ichigo's reiatsu is so overwhelmingly high, Toshiro would not be able to freeze him.

Hi yes Ichigo does learn a new technique from the Vizards. He learns to control the hollow that resides in him, and in return he is able to use the hollows powers for about 11 seconds, but that greatly increases in how long he can use it and in its power when he goes to the Hueco Mundo. In the Hueco Mundo Arc, Ichigo is at the brink of death as he's fighting the fourth espada, Ulquiorra Schiffer, and in a last ditch attempt to save Orehimme he looses control and transforms into what may be the Vizard equivalent of an Espada's resurection form or something similar. What ever the case truly is, Ichigo looses control of his actions and even though he defeats Uloquiorra, he also badly injures his friends. and now getsuga tenshou isn't even just Ichigo's attack his father can use it to... so basically ichigo's zanpactou can't do anything special. And now he's learning the "Final Getsuga Tenshou" but I honestly thinks it's kinda lame since it's just like a powerup from him normal one. :P

Also Renji is practised in kido (Demon Magic) where Ichigo is not.
