you WOULD get permanent acess to the petpet lab ray, which is basically the pet lab ray, which changes your pet's color, speices, and even gender at random. HOWEVER, it won't work unless you've already got acess to the pet lab ray, and the map pieces for THAT are way more expensive. hope i helped :)
