i think its species
Genera is the plural form of genus. It is the taxonomic group containing one or more species.
This may not be helpful but I'm just guessing on this one: The genus range could be 140.
Two, one for the genus and one for the species. The genus is always capitalized and comes first followed by the species (not capitalized).
Different regions might have different names often different in locations and different languages.
Atoms Answer 2 question is
genera
There are 79 species of hagfish that are split up into six different genus. The genus Eptatretus contains 49 species, the genus Myxine contains 23 species, the genus Nemamyxine contains two species, the genus Neomyxine contains one species, the genus Notomyxine contains one species, and the genus Rubicundus contains four species.
A monotypic genus contains only one species.
A category is a broad grouping that contains related items, while a subcategory is a more specific division within a category. Subcategories further organize items within a category based on shared characteristics or qualities.
The largest living mammal is the blue whale, which is also the largest animal that has ever lived. It is in the genus Balaenoptera, but the genus also contains some whales that are smaller than some other whales of other genera (plural of genus). Thus, the genus itself is not the largest of living mammals, but one species that it contains is.
- a domain is the highest level of organization - within a domain, there are kingdoms - withing kingdoms, there are phyla (singular phylum) - within phyla are classes - within classes are orders - within orders are families - each family contains one or more genera - each genus contains one or more species
Yes, you can Supervise more than one category.
A genus is a taxonomic rank that includes one or more species that are closely related. It represents a group of species that share common characteristics and ancestry. Genera are further organized into families, then orders, classes, phyla, and ultimately kingdoms in the classification system.
False. The classification group that is made up of only one type of organism that can reproduce only with others like itself is a species, not a genus. A genus is a broader classification group that contains one or more closely related species.
In biological classification, a family is a higher taxonomic rank than a genus. A family consists of one or more genera that share similar characteristics, while a genus includes one or more species that are closely related.
In biology, a genus (plural: genera) is a low-level taxonomic rank used in the biological classification of living and fossil organisms, which is an example of definition by genus and differentia. Genera and higher taxonomic levels such as families are used in biodiversity studies, particularly in fossil studies since species cannot always be confidently identified and genera and families typically have longer stratigraphic ranges than species.[1]The term comes from Latin genus "descent, family, type, gender",[2] cognate with Greek: γένος -- genos, "race, stock, kin".[3] The hierarchy of biological classification's eight major taxonomic ranks. A family contains one or more genera. Intermediate minor rankings are not shown. The composition of a genus is determined by a taxonomist. The standards for genus classification are not strictly codified, so different authorities often produce different classifications for genera. In the hierarchy of the binomial classification system, genus comes above species and below family.Contents
There can actually be a multiple number of supervisors in one category, I've once seen 4 supervisors in one category! But it depends on how busy the category is, sometimes and usually the category may need more then just 1 supervisor for one category of interest. So there are usually a multiple number of supervisors, supervising a category. But usually less than 5, but hey, the more the merrier!
