We need to use renewable energy sources to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and combat climate change, as non-renewable sources like fossil fuels contribute significantly to global warming. Renewable energy sources, such as solar, wind, and hydro, are sustainable and abundant, helping to ensure long-term energy security. Additionally, transitioning to renewables can create jobs, stimulate economic growth, and reduce air and water pollution, leading to a healthier environment.
since fossil fuels can be found almost anywhere in the world we need to improve sources of energy so that they are around the world............
We need to use differant energy soureces that are renewable. THis is because at the moment most of the enrgy that we use is unrenewable, coal, oil, petrol etc. It takes millions of year to create and is burnt in a matter of minuetes. We need energy that is renewable so we can supply it quickly when we need it because all nonrenewable enrgy's are running out. Only in 1 million yearsif a fish dies now will it be compatable to turn into fuel. Wind power, solar power, movement energy are all renewable. THis is why it is very important we use those things. Hope this helped :-) Lucy Year 7
We will generate more energy this year.Britain seeks to generate 100% of their energy from renewable sources.I hope this will generate interest in the book.
Because they are the most readily available and easiest to use energy source. We need to use any and all available energy sources. Fossil fuels have many drawbacks, but their near global availability and ease of use guarantees that they will be used even with such drawbacks.
Oils are finite resources (technically they aren't but it takes thousands and thousands of years to produce a rather small amount) that humanity will soon not be able to use because the amount of oils are being depleted extremely fast. We must conserve fuels for energy until renewable energy becomes big enough to replace oils in which we won't need them as much.
In today's scenario, all other sources depleting. Hence, renewable sources should be used.
Renewable energy resources are always there. We just need to harness them.

We are still dependent on fossil fuels due to factors such as the intermittency of renewable sources like solar and wind energy, limitations in energy storage technology, and the high cost of transitioning existing infrastructure to renewable sources. Additionally, some regions may lack the necessary resources or infrastructure to fully utilize renewable energy at present.
Renewable energy sources like solar, wind, and hydropower are examples of energy sources that are not considered traditional fuels, as they generate energy without the need for combustion.
Yes, a mix of both renewable and nonrenewable energy sources is needed to meet current energy demands. Renewable energy sources like solar, wind, and hydropower are more sustainable and environmentally friendly, while nonrenewable sources like fossil fuels are still necessary for providing constant supply and meeting peak energy demands. Transitioning towards a greater reliance on renewable energy is important for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and combating climate change.
Renewable sources of energy, like solar, wind, geothermal, tidal, hydro/water and biomass, are sources that that are not consumed during their use. When oil is burned it is consumed, finished. It can't be used again. But renewable sources will still be there after we have used them, like the sun, still radiating heat and light for as long as we need them.
It will have to, in the long term; by definition, the alternatives are not sustainable. People have lived for thousands of years with renewable energy sources; we will somehow have to do this again in the future... or else.
Humans need more electricity, regardless of source. Hydroelectric and other renewable sources of energy are preferred to energy produced from the burning of fossil fuels.
Because when you depend on energy sources which are not renewable and they run out, you are (for lack of a better descriptive and effective term) screwed. However, dependence on renewable sources means you will hypothetically never run out of energy and renewable sources are typically cheap; the only cost is the initial setup and maintenance.
Renewable energy can be renewed in a short time I.e. Wind power. Non renewable energy takes a long time, ususally millions of years, to become usuable again I.e. Fossil Fuels.
Current environmental issues, such as climate change and air pollution, are driving the need for increased use of renewable energy sources to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve air quality. These issues are creating a sense of urgency for governments and businesses to invest in and accelerate the adoption of renewable energy technologies. Additionally, natural disasters, like hurricanes and wildfires, are highlighting the vulnerability of traditional energy systems and the benefits of more resilient renewable energy solutions.
