What cities have been built on top of other cities?

One famous example of a city built on top of another is Rome, where modern Rome sits on top of ancient Rome. There are several cities that we are familiar with today that were built on top of older cities, many decades ago. They are Edinburgh, Scotland which was built over an older city after the great plague, San Francisco, London, Seattle, Rome, Paris, maybe more.
