I am sorry! Dry area is not a prerequisite for Dairy Farming.
The above answer has it absolutely right. Dry areas are where poorer forage is produced, forage that is much less in quality and quantity than areas that are moist. Dairy cattle need forage that is in high quality and quantity in order to produce significant amounts of milk. A high-milking cow needs to be in an area where forage is abundant and in good to excellent quality. A cow that tends to not produce much milk (like a Hereford beef cow, for instance) is better adapted at being raised in dry areas. Thus, beef cattle farming is better suited and done mostly in dry areas, whereas dairy farming is better suited in moist areas where quality forage can be grown and harvested.
Subsistence farming.
Step farming is done on mountains because in places where there is only rugged, barren land the people had to find some way of farming, so they cut what some people call "steps" so they have a flat surface to farm on , they also us step farming because if you us a piece of land for a long time eventually the nutrients is gone in the soil with step farming you rotate between different steps :so you do the first one for a little while gather your finished crops when the seasons done move onto the second step when that seasons done move to the third by the time you are done with the third step the first step is all ready to go and so on.
Terraced fields help prevent soil erosion on hilly terrain by reducing the speed of water flow down slopes. They also help retain moisture and nutrients in the soil, making it more suitable for agriculture. Additionally, terraced fields provide a flat surface for planting crops and can maximize arable land in areas with limited flat space.
Gathering typically involves collecting naturally occurring resources like fruits, nuts, or herbs from the wild, while farming involves cultivating crops or raising animals in a controlled environment for food production. Gathering is generally done in smaller quantities and often involves foraging in natural settings, whereas farming is a more organized and systematic process aimed at producing larger quantities of food.
Contour tillage is a conservation farming practice where tilling is done parallel to the contour lines of the land to reduce soil erosion and improve water infiltration. This method helps to prevent runoff and retain soil moisture, ultimately promoting soil health and crop productivity.
Dairy farming is an agricultural term to mean the long term production of milk, generally from dairy cows. The production can either be done onsite or transferred to a dairy factory.
Mainly dairy, but ginseng and cranberries are common too.

I believe that most of the farming was done on the plateau.
Spate irrigation is mostly done in semi-arid areas. Normal areas have conventional irrigation.
They are itchy, reddened, mostly circular areas on the skin where bedbugs have done their biting.
Organic farming is practiced worldwide, but there are certain countries and regions where it is more prominent due to supportive policies, environmental awareness, and consumer demand for organic products. Here are some key areas where organic farming is widely done: India: Sikkim, Kerala, Rajasthan. USA: California, Vermont. Europe: Germany, France, Italy. Australia: Large organic farms. South America: Argentina, Brazil (grains, coffee). Africa: Uganda, Ethiopia (coffee, cocoa). China: growing organic sector. New Zealand: dairy and fruit farms.
If there is not enough rain, then additional water (i.e., irrigation) is required.
Without water irrigation, the desert areas would be too arid, and food plants would be unable to grow as a farm crop.
Indian farming is generally done using old-fashioned and traditional methods. And basically US farming is done using modern technology in agriculture.
Subsistence Farming is done in the southern islands, such as: Long Island, Crooked Island, and Mayaguana. Commercial Farming is done in the Northern islands, such as: Abaco, Eleuthera, and Andros.
