Who is "Henry"? And what is 304th---infantry regiment, fighter squadron, field artillery??
----------------------
If he means the US 304 Infantry Regiment, then that was part of the US 76 Infantry Division.
"Henry" refers to Henry Fleming, the main character in the novel "Red Badge of Courage". I don't think we know what unit he was in. Remember this book is fiction. It is reported that the author, Stephen Crane, interviewed veterans of the 124 New York Volunteer Regiment to assist with writing of his book.
