The bacterium that cannot tolerate oxygen is Anaerobes, but there are different kinds and each has different tolerances when it comes to oxygen. Obligate Anaerobes can get killed by oxygen. Facultative anaerobes those can grow without oxygen. Aero-tolerant anaerobes they never use oxygen BUT they can tolerate it. Microaerophiles require i tiny bit of oxygen but anymore than the little bit they need and they cannot grow.

During the cycle of viral shedding, the virus has made copies of itself and the host cell is no longer useful. The host cell then dies, and the new virus cells then must find a new host.

Genetic exchanges among bacteria occur by several mechanisms. In transformation, the recipient bacterium takes up extracellular donor DNA. In transduction, donor DNA packaged in a bacteriophage infects the recipient bacterium. In conjugation, the donor bacterium transfers DNA to the recipient by mating.
