Yes and no. If you're comparing two healthy leaves of different species that have different leaf colors, then probably not. However, a yellowed or bleached leaf (unhealthy) will photosynthesize at a different rate, if at all.
sun and shade leaves also photosynthesize at different rates, and will have different colors.
